Master’s degrees in aerospace or ocean engineering
The Kevin T. Crofton Department of Aerospace and Ocean Engineering offers:
Master of science in aerospace or ocean engineering ›
(thesis or non-thesis)
Master of engineering in aerospace engineering ›
(non-thesis)
Requirements
In order to ensure that all our students can communicate with scientists and engineers outside their primary field of interest, all graduate students in aerospace engineering must take the following four core courses:
- advanced aero-hydrodynamics
- vehicle structures
- vehicle dynamics and control
- applied numerical methods
Graduate students in ocean engineering must take the following four core courses:
- advanced aero-hydrodynamics
- advanced ship dynamics
- advanced ship structural analysis
- applied numerical methods
