Marc Sheffler

Marc Sheffler joined Boeing in 1973, the same year he earned his bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech. Throughout his 38 years of service with Boeing, he worked in a variety of positions. His most recent assignment was Chief Technology Integrator for Boeing Advanced Mobility (Rotorcraft), and previous assignments include Director of Engineering for Boeing’s Mesa, Arizona, site, Director of Integrated Product Teams for the Apache Program and Director of Research and Technology in Philadelphia. He retired from Boeing in 2011.

Sheffler has served on a number of boards including the Virginia Tech College of Engineering Advisory Board; the Delaware Branch of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International; and Chairman, Board of Trustees, of the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center.
